Advisory

Strategy meets data. At the charging station.

Chargalytics combines Europe's most comprehensive EV charging dataset with 17+ years of hands-on operating experience. We offer advisory and leadership for investors, operators, and founders who need more than a slide deck.

The data edge

Every advisory engagement is backed by our own intelligence platform — real-time station status, historical utilisation patterns, operator benchmarks, traffic analysis, and demand forecasts across 40+ countries.

This means our due diligence is not based on management presentations. It is based on what the chargers actually do.

40+ Countries covered
350K+ Charging stations

Where we help

Strategy without execution is noise. We stay close to the work.

Commercial due diligence

Buyer-side commercial due diligence for EV charging assets. Category mapping, competitive positioning, utilisation analysis, risk framing, and practical post-deal assumptions — all backed by real operating data, not broker decks.

M&A advisory

Buy-side and sell-side support in the EV charging sector. We help structure transactions, identify targets, assess asset quality, and plan integration — from LOI through close and beyond.

Market entry strategy

Which country, which corridor, what pricing. We model demand, map competitors, analyse regulatory environments, and help you build a rollout plan grounded in data rather than optimism.

Operating model & pricing

Pricing logic, margin levers, partner structures, and portfolio-level operational improvements. We have run a charging network from 1,000 customers to 300,000 — we know where the money hides.

Interim & fractional leadership

CEO, COO, or commercial lead on a fractional or interim basis. For transitions, turnarounds, and scale periods where leadership bandwidth is constrained and the board needs someone who has done it before.

Board & advisory roles

Active board participation with a bias for governance that actually moves the company forward. Domain expertise in EV charging, SaaS, and scaling businesses in regulated European markets.

About the advisor

Ole Henrik Hannisdahl has worked in and around the EV charging industry since 2009. He ran the Norwegian "200,000 EVs" initiative at Grønn Bil for five years, served on the board of Grønn Kontakt, and in 2014 became CEO of what later became Mer — a Statkraft subsidiary and one of Europe's largest charging operators.

Over seven years as CEO, he scaled Mer Norway from 3 employees and an Excel sheet to ~70 employees, ~170 MNOK revenue, and ~300,000 registered customers. He simultaneously ran Mer Sweden (formerly Grön Kontakt) and sat on the board of Gronn Kontakt Ltd in the UK. Through a series of transactions, the group became fully owned by Statkraft and expanded across Northern Europe.

After Mer, he served as CEO of Welmax AS, a company specialising in autonomous welding robots. He then founded Incremental AS, which combines advisory work and venture building — including Chargalytics. He has held board roles at Bikeloop, Gersemi Asset Management, and Q-Light AS, and earlier ran his own consulting firm, Grønn Consulting.

Before EV charging, he worked at Meltwater during its early growth phase and spent nearly four years at KPMG in Business Performance Services. He holds a Master's degree in International Business from NHH Norwegian School of Economics. He speaks Norwegian, English, and French.
