Voltempo exists to make clean freight pay. Founded in 2019, it aims to end the trade-off between net-zero and profit targets by making electric the most profitable choice for fleet operators. Voltempo does this through a new model for the sector, the "Depot Point Operator", bringing charging, energy, funding and data together in one system, filling idle charging bays with paying demand and sharing the cost, risk and complexity, so energy gets cheaper and electrification gets faster. Voltempo leads eFREIGHT 2030, the £76m Innovate UK-backed consortium building the UK's largest eHGV charging network, supported by its UK-designed and built Megawatt charging system, the HyperCharger.
