Steven Salo

CEO of Allego, one of Europe's largest public EV charging networks. Born in the UK, studied in Australia at Deakin University (BCom) and Finsia (Master of Applied Finance). Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). Career began at PwC Melbourne, then Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Citigroup M&A in London. Was Head of Strategy & M&A at Arabtec Holding in Abu Dhabi, then Group CFO at Depa plc (led sale to Saudi PIF). Served as interim CEO of Design Studio Group (Singapore Exchange). Was CFO at Accsys Technologies before joining Allego as CFO in July 2024, promoted to CEO in February 2025.
